    Description

    This wrap necklace is made of a combination of antique faceted Idar-Oberstein carnelian beads and ancient excavated carnelian from West Africa. Idar-Oberstein beads date to 1800 to early 1900, made in the famous Idar-Oberstein factory in Germany for African trade. The smaller round beads as well as several larger bi-cones are ancient excavated beads from West Africa. Bead caps and small spacers are brass.
    The long flapper-style necklace is 76" long. It can be worn wrapped twice or even three times, providing versatility of look and style. The bead size ranges from small 5mm round excavated beads to 40x14mm of the largest Idar-Oberstein bead.
    A classic vintage look and noble antique and ancient beads make this necklace unique as wearable jewelry or a collectible piece.
