    Description

Up for your consideration is this vintage Cities Service Battery Charger. It's Speedway Model 564 made by the Franklin Manufacturing Division of the Studebaker Corporation. It has been tested and it works good. It will charge either 6 or 12 volt batteries.... up to 100 amps for 6 volt and 60 amps for 12 volts.  Operates with a timer with a range up to 2 hours and is designed to shut off when the timer runs out. It has 4 different charging rate settings for each voltage. It also has a low battery selection for each voltage for when a battery is extremely discharged.  It has general overall wear, a few very minor dents and some surface rust showing (please see photographs) but nothing major. One of the 3 brackets for the negative cable is missing.  It measures about 32" tall by 16" wide.  It even has a cooling fan inside to keep it from overheating.
This is a very well made charger. Sorry, no shipping. Local pickup at my N.E. Illinois location.
